Dan's Handyman Service is hands-down my number one go-to guys for home projects which I no longer have the time (or the ability) to do myself. In fact, they are the only ones I trust these days due to their outstanding level of professionalism and skill. I've used Dan's Handyman Service for water damage repair/restoration, garage door opener replacement, hot water tank installation, roofing, sump pump/pvc pipe installation and bay window exterior panel replacement. Several remodeling projects: Dan listened carefully to what we wanted but also added his very creative solutions for our consideration. He did a meticulous job. Moreover, he is timely in keeping appointments and finished each job thoroughly and promptly. He has many talents and abilities..he did electrical, construction carpentry and painting for us. FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have standard pricing. My base price to come out is $89. I'm sure there are cheaper folks out there who feel they are not worth that price. That is their prerogative.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask the customer what they need completely. what is their end goal? I then describe to them not only what end result they can achieve but also the nuts and bolts of how to get there. I feel it helps them to better understand how things are done and why.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the industry my entire life. My family managed property in Chicago. I started at an early age assisting with cleanup and maintenance to earn my allowance. Eventually I apprenticed as a carpenter in all phases of working with wood. From framing a house/addition to installing trim, hanging doors and cabinets. I'm now 58 and have done construction, remodeling and repairs my entire life.
