Introduction: Check out my website. Bonniemariedance.com An NDCA-certified dance instructor, I compete in professional American Rhythm and have ranked 7th in the country thus far. My students benefit from my extensive training with the world's best ballroom and latin champions. Having won many Top Teacher awards around the country, I now teach in good ol' Santa Barbara Dance. I am so fortunate to do what I love. I've been teaching dance for 17 years and truly enjoy helping people gain confidence, improve their physical fitness, and mental sharpness as well as just have FUN! After taking dance lessons for about 5 years with other teachers, I had plateau'd for the past few years until I started taking lessons with Bonnie. She focuses on the fundamentals of good technique which can be applied to all partner dancing. The fundamentals she taught me for Salsa were transferable to Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, and Rumba, etc. I didn't realize just how much of the foundational principles of good connection and weight shifting I hadn't learned in 5 years of lessons until I started taking lessons with Bonnie. My dancing improved vastly in a short amount of time. Her lessons are fun, challenging, and a great workout.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I start out with an introductory program which is 2 lessons for $49.00. Moving forward after the two lessons, I have several different packages available. Depending on the students needs and goals, I will recommend a customized package at that time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will discuss your goals at the first introductory lesson and move ahead from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained by some of the best coaches in the world. I still continue to improve my own dancing. I believe you are never done learning.
