Introduction: I want to help clients to build a strong relationship with their dog using current motivational techniques like food and toys. I became interested in dog training because I wanted to learn how to harness my high powered dogs energy and channel it into a more positive direction. I found Michael Ellis and his School for dog trainers and have loved using motivational methods. It makes the whole process for the dog fun and rewarding. They think training is playing and therefor want to work for me and the owner. I want to help as many people as I can. I am owner and operator of Trail Hounds dog walking and training and currently work as a trainer at K9 Activity club, I offer CGC classes PUPPY S.T.A.R Training as well as a free puppy social and have an obedience class after on Saturday afternoons. During the week I take small controlled packs of dogs on dog hiking adventures. I am very flexible with making appointments at your convenience. We can train together or I can pick your dog up for training. Besides dogs being my life, I love to spend time with my toddler and husband. At home I have 4 dogs. I want to make each dog the best version of themselves, and to help owners have a good relationship and understanding with their dog.

The method of how Christina teaches and trains was very helpful from The get go. Our puppy initially a shy tiny girl wishing she was anywhere but there, by the 3rd training she was running around playing with the other dogs and obeying basic commands. Every week our pup is ecstatic to go on her walks and to puppy training and see all of her friends. Christina is helpful, accommodating and I trust her to have a key to my house and with my fur baby, that really says a lot, no app or company can replace her awesomeness and she’s entertaining. Christina is really great about sending instructions in text and photos of my puppy on walks and is always quick to respond by phone and very flexible with changing walk or training times.

I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Dachsund mix. I've been needing help training her for a number of reasons. I have a really bad back and had the idea to train Mia to be my service animal. I was looking around for a dog trainer and met Christina! She helped us with Mia heeling, waiting and helped teach us both how to do certain tricks like pick stuff up for me when I can't bend down. It's been a long road but I can say that with the help of Christina, Mia and I would not be where we are today. Mia no longer pulls on the leash, is no longer leash reactive, now waits and stays in place, and is the calmest dog when we go to stores, etc. Thank You Christina!!

Christina has been our savior with our pup Bella—we no longer have to worry about her being home alone being board/destructive with all that reserved energy. She gets lots of exercise and socializing with ‘the pack’ which has transformed her into a dog that gets along with pretty much any dog and person she meets. We add on extra training sessions every week which keeps her engaged and always learning, which we think is vital for every puppy. Christina is responsible, flexible and an absolute joy to work with!

We rescued a very challenging dog who had a history of abuse and homelessness. After 3 different trainers told us that they wouldn't work with us due to our dogs challenges, we found Christina! She gladly took her on and Lizzy, our dog, has blossomed amazingly! Christina listens to our concerns, gives us guidance, has a warm friendly disposition, and is very flexible with our every changing schedules. We wouldn't know what we would do without her. Our dog has learned so much. Christina's expertise is invaluable!

Christina takes pride in what she does, she genuinely cares about my dog, Mia. Christina takes the time to work with Mia and I to ensure I know how to work with Mia after Christina has left, to maintain her training. Every time Christina comes for a training session, I feel confident in Mia's progress with increased social skills and good behavior.

• $30 pack walk (2 walk a week minimum, drop off and pick ups included • $100 per session dog training • $60 Private Walk • $140/ night board and train • $60/ night boarding in my home/ includes pack walks (subject to availability/ must be dog and kid social)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule a free consultation and assess your needs and we will come up with a plan to reach your goals with your dog
