Introduction: I have been performing professionally for over ten years. My experience has led to a focus in the ability to build confidence. Every educator wants their students to practice but what's important is the student learns to make the most of their time. As a music teacher I make sure students aren't wasting time when the instrument is in their hands. Whether classical or rock music. I will give you or your child the tools needed to grow as a musician. Nothing is more fulfilling then playing music. The satisfaction students get from picking up an instrument and playing in your living room or playing in front of thousands of people. The journey students take is transferable to so many aspects of life. My time over the last 5 years as an educator has led to some of the most rewarding moments in my life.

Josh is an incredibly valuable music instructor. He expresses ideas in a clear way that is uniquely tailored to the needs of each individual student that he works with. His ability to think quickly and adapt to various situations makes him an musical chameleon! Josh also speaks naturally with students of all ages and has a way with connecting with students on a personal level. I highly recommend Josh as a music educator and artist!

Studying Saxophone for 20 years Studying Piano for 18 years. Attended SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music for Music Education Band Track Received A Performance Certificate for Saxophone at Crane School of Music Assistant Band Director at Brown School in Schenectady for the 2014 school year. Wood Wind Private Instructor at Brown School in Schenectady for the 2013-15 school year. Jazz Combo director at Brown School Spring 2015. Taught Woodwind Techniques at Youngstown State University Fall of 2019 Taught Saxophone Lessons and Quartet Coaching at Youngstown State University for the 2020 Assisted teaching and tutoring applied music theory at Youngstown State University for the 2020 school year.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began teaching music in High School and have not stopped since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have given lessons to students ages 5-28. I provide saxophone lessons for any level student. I offer beginning piano lessons with a focus on younger students. I provide wind instrument lessons ranging beginner to intermediate.
