FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always spray a sample and get it just the way you want it before the work begins. We can can spray your cabinets virtually any color you would like. We will customize a plan for your kitchen. We can add crown molding, bead board, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have formal professional training. We are former refinishers for a major big box retailer. Without the costs and fees involved with dealing with a big box retailer, we can offer the same service for a fraction of the cost. If you go through a major retailer, you will pay too much. Also, our warranty is three times as long.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask about the preparation process and whether they use protective clear coat. We use a 3 step cleaning process and go as far as to neutralize pH levels before applying the color. Improper cleaning and/or unbalanced pH levels will lead to chipping and peeling. We spray 3 color coats and lightly sand between each coat. We also use 2 coats of acrylic polyurethane over top of the color to ensure years of protection. Also, we spray everything, no rollers or brushes are used on the doors or cabinet frames. Make no mistake, using rollers and brushes will not result in a professional-looking job. Our process allows you to keep items in your cabinets while the work is being performed. Our result is a factory-grade finish.
