Introduction: Where most workplace violence consultants simply limit their focus to the subjects of prevention & reporting, I specialize in helping you to create training, systems and procedures that save lives during an actual attack scenario. This is the "missing link", or the hole in most workplace violence policies that leave you completely unprepared in the face of actual danger. I do this be sharing with you my 35+ years of experience as a former police officer, undercover investigator, private investigator and bodyguard to make sure that your security systems, policies and employee training programs are designed to protect life and property as well as protecting you against the very real potential for legal liability problems in the aftermath of an attack. All programs are customized to your business' needs and liability-conscious. Whether I'm presenting at your next meeting, training or conference, helping you design and implement your program from the ground up, or anywhere in-between, I will work with you and your team to make sure that you will get the best results. My passion is to provide clients with the tools and knowledge they need to feel confident, safe, and prepared - rather than live in denial or ignorance of the problem that workplace violence has become in today's world. With 9 - 13 people being killed, and another 38,500 otherwise assaulted, raped, beaten, shot stabbed, etc. every WEEK, the fact that 70% of business have no workplace violence policies and training in place is unthinkable. And of the 30% that do have plans in place, less than 3% actually provide their managers and employees with training to protect them during an actual assault or active shooter situation. This is carelessness and an over-reliance on written documents and "rules" to save lives. Remember: I don't care what prevention and reporting policies you have in place! Not because they're not important. But, because... An assailant will not care about these things when he or she decides to strike! As you can see and tell, I am passionate about educating people to put the things in place in their lives that will truly allow them to live more relaxed and stress-free, not because danger doesn't exist or will never touch them, but because they have done the work necessary to make it as difficult as possible for it to get at them. And... if it does happen, you are prepared to handle it for your own safety and the safety of others!
