FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is flat fee for the first hour, unless you are more than 10 miles away then it goes up to $125+ past that mileage and $80/hr + materials (+20%) after the first hour., Some people don't like the unknown of an hourly rate, so I can work up a flat quote for the labor. It give them piece of mind that the work will cost X.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the potential client and discuss their needs, determine the actual scope of work and I then send them a proposal for the work to be done. OR if it is straight forward and I can do it right then, we do it, usually by the hour.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
*I have a degree in Construction Management *OSHA 10 along with several CE classes for safety. * I worked under 3 Master Carpenters * School of Hard Knocks has really given me an education!
