I am a passionate, creative freelance floral and events professional. New to Thumbtack, but have been providing event services for over 10 years. My project management background, combined with my eye for design, lends a unique opportunity to offer comprehensive event services.
I have experience with weddings, anniversaries, vow renewals, engagement parties, and bridal showers. Any event that brings family and friends together is extremely important to me, and deserves as much care and detail as I would give for my own events, no matter how big or small of an affair.

I'm an engineer by trade, and an all around crafty person that just itches for things fun and beautiful. It was an absolute delight having Christine set up my winter wedding reception! I did not decide to hire her until only several weeks before my wedding so we only met once leading up to the event to discuss my vision. She was a pleasure to talk with and did a great job of following up to ensure she had my ideas in place.
Trusting in her work and her vision, I had everything delivered to the barn the morning of our reception and she and her husband set everything up - changing some things where she saw better fit and adding on with details that she envisioned better than I could have. Let me first say that the barn was an absolutely empty slate venue. All tables and heating were externally brought in, the decorations and lighting were all DIY, etc.
Neither myself nor anyone in my family saw the decorated barn before arriving to the reception itself but I was absolutely awestruck! My jaw literally dropped when I walked in. It was BEAUTIFUL! And I am not a very creative person. It was all thanks to Christine's vision! I could not be happier with her. For those at my reception that met her, everyone spoke so highly of her! I was very thankful to have made the decision to hire her.

Working with Christine for both our floral and wedding planning needs was terrific! Christine was very organized, professional, and efficient in her responsibilities. She made herself available to meet in person as well as communicate by phone or text. No question was too big or too small. She took the time to understand our needs and adapted her suggestions and direction to accommodate us as a couple. She often anticipated our needs before we knew we needed it! As a result, we were free to enjoy our wedding day without worrying about anything. It was a very easy and joyful experience.
In terms of our floral needs, we provided pictures of styles and ideas in which we were interested that would work with our overall theme. Christine was then given the freedom to design the florals as she saw fit and she did not disappoint! She was willing to work with us on price and quantity as well.
We highly recommend working with Christine Topacio for all your floral and wedding planning needs!

We got married in 2010 and Christine was our day of coordinator. She oversaw the entire set up of our 230 person reception - managing vendors, our families, and our bridal brigade. We relied heavily on friends and family for a number of things (like music, desserts, centerpiece assembly) - which meant even more coordination. She set decor in both the art gallery and the outdoor tent - executing our vision perfectly, despite being unfamiliar with the venue. She un-apologetically insisted that we have our perfect day, and it wouldn't have happened without her.
From executing our elegant picnic theme, to managing unexpected weather, to sorting out a staffing snafu with the caterer - Christine absolutely had our back. She managed all the little things (and big things) so that our mostly DIY wedding went off without a hitch. Case in point: before the reception started, she realized that our cake hadn't arrived. She dispatched a few trusted friends with an SUV to go pick it up while she handled the guests that arrived early to the cocktail hour.
I have seen her work several times since our wedding and I cannot recommend her highly enough for any event, party, or floral services. She genuinely loves making sure that your event is even more than you imagined it would be.

Chirstine was awesome! I was planning my wedding from afar(Puerto Rico) and she really helped me feel reassured that all the details of the wedding would be taken care of. She was there for the wedding rehearsal, managed all the vendors, set up all the decor items I brought in for the wedding and did all my florals which were amazing! The day of the wedding she was so attentive to any need that my husband or I had, made sure the day ran smoothly and worked around delays in our schedule. She was very professional yet down to earth and always had a smile on her face. She even showed concern when two hurricanes hit where we live (Puerto Rico) and made sure we were ok. She was just wonderful! I don't know what I would have done with her! Thank you!
