What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $130 per hour. I do use a sliding scale for those who qualify.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free 30 min. consultation to determine if we are a good fit for each other. Then we work to establish goals. We work to meet those goals at a time that is convenient. An assessment is done in the first appointment to determine the best course to proceed and this is discussed during the session. Often homework is given at the end of each session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have Masters Degrees in Mental Health Counseling, Human Services, and Education (including Special Education). Additionally I have training in marriage and family therapy, intimacy issues, trauma work, and in working with LGBTQ and Multicultural Communities. I provide training to other therapists as well.
