- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My time in the Marines gave me the discipline and motivation to open a business in one of the most dangerous professions in the country.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had a client who had a tree removed some time ago. He agreed to have the wood stay on property to bring the removal cost down. The company, as they often do, left massive pieces of wood that the homeowner couldn’t even move, let alone split into firewood. Getting all that wood split up, stacked, the area cleaned up, weeds whacked and the area raked and blown off was very satisfying. It took a couple days, but the end result was well worth it. Otherwise the wood would have just rotted in place and created an unsettling environment right next to their beautiful garden.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Simply price shopping often leads to low quality work. I am able to keep prices honest and affordable, for both client and myself, by keeping overhead costs to a minimum.
