Introduction: I have been riding for 35 years and I have been teaching for roughly 15 years and I am fully insured and certified to teach in the State of Massachusetts. In addition to teaching beginners, I am an avid member of The Myopia Hunt and Hunt regularly. I grew up as a three day event rider and I also enjoyed fox hunting as a little girl, which I still continue to do and enjoy. Rates: Lessons: 1 hour: $60.00 Semi Private: $35.00 Hunt Escort ( w/ pony and trailering ) $150 Beach Ride: $100 Having grown up with horses, it has always been a dream of mine to have my own Children's riding program. I love teaching kids, and I thrive on teaching beginners; nothing better as a teacher, but to watch them progress and overcome the many challenges and rewards with this sport. I am extremely interactive with each student and never just have the students ride around in a boring circle. They learn their sense of balance and control of the pony /horse through many games, obstacles and fun drills... But the most important is that they have a good time and are safe. Depending on your child’s ability and / or preference we can either work in an enclosed ring or go out on the trails or both! They will learn how to groom, how to tack-up and lots more both on and off the ponies. .
