- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price per project because I enjoy adding value by tailoring my quote to the scope of the project and the industry it is in, particularly when it comes to nonprofits. I have a passion for writing and editing proposals and other content that will positively benefit lives. I adjust pricing according to need in those circumstances.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After establishing the project and fees, I typically conduct an initial phone consultation. This is WAY more fun than it sounds because the entire point of the call is to get you excited about where your business is headed! I come to the call fully prepared with the information I need to ask the right questions, gather information and establish expectations (including deadlines, which I happen to LOVE!). Then I get writing! I turn in a polished draft and you decide if it needs more editing or if it is perfect as is! Then, after being thrilled with my work quality and ethic, we work together on your next project!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in Screenwriting and a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism with an English minor. More importantly, the school of life has taught me major lessons about everything from the importance of optimism to using the right "there, their, they're".
