Introduction: My name is Amanda, I am a 30 year old female, and living in Sparta WI. I have cleaned houses a couple times on Thumbtack in the past while living in Milwaukee WI. Also, when I was a lot younger (10-14 yrs old) I cleaned 2 of my neighbors houses and was paid with candy and $4-$5/hour! Lol. To me each and every client/family/house/income level is different and should be treated as such. I am punctual, loyal, and fair. I wil work hard for you and do an excellent job. I like making people happy and making them feel good. When someone else cleans your home, it's refreshing. A big heavy weight lifted off your shoulders. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We will work together to figure out a price that works for you. There are many things to be accounted for when providing a service that recieves your hard earned money.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Do a walk-through with them in their home beforehand to figure out a set price. If a customer is to busy to do a walk-through or there isn't enough time then we can talk over the phone. Talking on the phone we will come up with a guesstimate. When setting the price in stone it's better for both of us if we do a walk-through.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a cocktail waitress for 9 years. I had to make sure the tables etc were always up to par. Customers do not want to sit at a dirty table or use a dirty restroom. While keeping it clean I also had to carry on conversations, memorize orders, have multiple credit cards, and keep it all running smoothly.
