FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad started in the concrete business in 1985. I was 9. I spent every summer behind a wheelbarrow, till I was 20. When I left, I always knew I enjoyed working with my father, but it wasn't until he passed, that I knew how much. Now that I own my own business, and my sons work with me, I want them to feel the same about this trade, and our workmanship as I do.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with home owners, and general contractors. The homeowners, though are who I enjoy working with the most. It's not just another house, but it's their house. They want a quality product, one they can enjoy for years to come.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you are looking for someone, pay attention to the details. Do they say what type of concrete they use? How about the subbase? Is there going to be reinforcement, or are they going to include joint control?
