- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After providing a quote on Thumbtack that is accepted by the customer, I learn more about the customer through a phone interview where I answer any questions my customer has about my professional experience or how I can help the customer with a resume. Then I email a detailed questionnaire to the customer or conduct the interview over the phone if that is the customer's preference. After reviewing the questionnaire, contact the customer to fill in any gaps he or she may have missed that will help me create a winning resume. Next, I write the resume. When finished, I email the resume to the customer for review. Upon review, I make any edits based on my customer's comments if necessary. After the resume is approved, I will send the customer two copies, one copy in Microsoft Word format; the other will be a PDF.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor in English from UCLA and a Masters Degree in Teaching English. I also have worked on staff for a medical school as a resume writer. In addition, I have worked with a recruiter to help edit her candidates' resumes and cover letters.
