Corey called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way (he called earlier but I was busy at work, but still honored the original time). I really like it when a technician wears those coverings over their shoes when they come into the house, so we're starting off really great. Talked through the job of replacing a few light switches and outlets, and that I had a suspicion that I had aluminum wiring. He popped a cover off the light switch to take a quick look and he mentioned it looked like it was aluminum, though it was connected to copper wire. So we agreed on a price, and he got to work. After about an hour and a half, he was finished. We tested everything and he cleaned up everything (another point for awesome). I received my invoice, shook his hand, and I am pretty happy. The price for everything came out to about $250, which I feel is acceptable because there are two things I don't want to mess up in a house: electrical and plumbing. I will gladly pay for the peace of mind a licensed and insured professional requests for a job.
