FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I never want to let money be the reason why people do not pursue their passions, however, making recordings that are of the level that they need to be for me to feel comfortable being part of the process is a relatively expensive venture. So, I try and balance the need to make affordable get high level recordings for people. I work with him a lot of different budget constraints from singer songwriter demos that are only a couple hundred dollars up to $50,000 full-scale albums and every thing in between.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I almost always start off with multiple phone calls and emails trying to determine what the goal of the artist is before we even start listening to music, talking timetable and budget. I think that it is critical to have an end goal in mind before starting a production.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended The Ohio State University School of Music. I have been making records professionally for over 20 years.
