- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For nutrition counseling, our first session is called the initial consultation. The client fills out a health history form on my website and sends me a food diary from the past seven days. On that one hour session, we can meet via Skype so we can see each other if the client chooses. I ask questions and get to know more about you. You will also get to know me to create your comfort in our working together. I will make specific recommendations to help you meet your goals that you can implement right away. We will discuss how to best work together moving forward. I have a variety of programs that will meet clients needs as well as their budget and schedule. I typically work with a client for 4 to 6 months so that changes can be implemented that last. If a client only desires one or two sessions to get them on track, I am absolutely open to that as well. For cooking lessons, they fill out a questionnaire based on their food likes and dislikes as well as what types of cuisines they would like to learn more about. We have a quick phone chat to discuss and I email recipe ideas. Once I get your approval, we schedule our cooking lesson. You are welcome to come to my kitchen in Rhinebeck New York or I will travel to you. You can choose to do the shopping or I can do it.
