Neil has been teaching my 10 year old son guitar for the past year and he is amazing! There are many reasons why I would recommend Neil. He is extreamly talented and passionate about guitar. He has studied many types of music including classical so he has an impressive knowledge of music. He not only plays very well but also he can explain the techinical points in a way that we can understand. He is also very creative and patient which is key when teaching children. He always comes prepared with a lesson in mind but often diverts to meet my son where he is at . My son has struggled with motivation and I am constantly impressed with Neil's ability to engage him even when my son isn't interested in his lesson. He has made flash cards, written music to follow and taken pictures of his hand positions so that we can remember what to work on. He is reliable and always in good humor and has a real knack for relating to children. I highly recommend Neil to anyone and am sure he will exceed your expectations.

Neal is a wonderful teacher. The knowledge and experience he brings to each lesson makes you excited and motivated to learn. He is incredibly compassionate, and you can tell that he truly wants to see you progress. Neal is great with children and extremely patient. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a teacher. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing guitar for 14 years non-stop and love it. I started teaching 2 years ago and have helped many students reach their musical goals.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After many years of playing in successful bands around Michigan, I received multiple requests to teach people. After having enough requests I finally decided that I should start teaching.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with guitar players of all ages and experiences, and have developed different methods of teaching for any walk of your musical adventure.
