We are completely thrilled with the tile work that Frank McCarthy did on our bathroom. He was very neat and meticulous with each and every piece of tile he put up. It was surprising and wonderful to learn from the get-go that he would only focus on our job on a daily basis (even weekends) from start to finish, rather than juggling several sites at one time. My husband and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for reasonable pricing and perfection.

Frank has worked on a variety of projects in my house, which can be quite tricky (1950’s plaster walls, etc). But with his years of experience, the outcome is always fantastic! He’s very knowledgeable and offers me suggestions based on the look I’m trying to achieve. As a first-time homeowner, I really appriciate that he will also tell me how to get the longest lasting results.

Frank did a beautiful job on our kitchen. It's a big room which included a bathroom and basement landing, and the limestone we chose was expensive and not something we were sure that everyone could work with. Additionally, our application in our 75 year old house was "complicated." After our first meeting with Frank we were sure that he had the expertise and knowledge to handle all the challenges. We were correct. He was meticulous, worked neatly, kept us informed and rolled with the changes with which our house surprised us. He does beautiful work, and is pleasant t have in your home.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No. Each project is specific to its own, the more specifications the more narrow the price will be. We will give you the most for your budget wether it be basic, moderate or elaborate and creating anything in-between, you control the cost. When we give a price its solid and will only fluctuate with your modification you choose. Give a call, I'm happy to help.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call, explain your needs, send pictures of the space as well as ideas you like and arrange to meet to view the project so we can elaborate....
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a 3rd generation craftsman, my daughter is the 4th generation whom worked summers with me since the age of 12, now she is a student athlete at UConn. Through the years I have kept up with not only knowing the trends in design but attending trade seminars of manufactures that provide understanding of the new products as well as the procedures to install and apply them to projects.
