FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For Partnership dance lessons I charge $80/hour (1 lesson). Small discounts are applied bigger contracts of 15 or 20 lessons. Larger discounts are applied, if you purchase a monthly subscription membership. If you refer a new student, who purchases a 5 lesson contract, you will receive an hour lesson for only $25. The only fee I will charge is in the event of a lesson canceled within 24 hours of the appointment ($36, 45% of the lesson), or for a missed appointment ($80, full percentage of the lesson).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients typically have questions, I make sure I know as much about their needs and desires for dance, before giving my professional recommendation. This is, usually, no more than a ten minute process, I will ask many questions about their goals and desires. After scheduling a session, I will call or email a day before, at the customers request, to confirm the session. On the first lesson, I will introduce the student to several basic dance steps, from various styles. This allows me to learn more about the the student's abilities, and unique learning style.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have five years of experience and professional training, teaching partnership dance. This training includes Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Club dances. My professional training spans 8 years, which includes coaching with professionals including Dan Calloway, Pete Godfrey, Adam Mehring, Brian Le, Jenna Marie, and other professional coaches and instructors in over 20 styles of dance.
