MKJC Carpentry INC.
About this pro
The guys at MKJC Carpentry are really good what they do. I’ve hired their services multiple times in the past and they haven’t disappointed yet. I recently had a job and I went with another contractor (big mistake on my part). He didn’t know how to work with the insurance companies and he was impatient and his attitude was not a good one. I ended up having to let him go. I called MKJC and they rescued the job. I should of called them first. In life, you’ll have regrets, but live and learn. Mario O.Jul 23, 2018
I can’t say enough great things about MKJC!! I hired them to do my porch, and it came out better than I imagined! Stan and his crew were very easy to work with, showed up every morning on time, cleaned up when they left every afternoon, they were super nice and friendly, and addressed any questions/concerns promptly. I would very highly recommend!Apr 18, 2018Verified
We hired Stan and his team to replace 9 tricky windows in our home and to replace our front porch deck that was in a state of disrepair. In all, the professionalism and quality was beyond expectation. The pricing was fair and the extra measures Stan and his team took was icing on the cake. Stan took the time to reach out to me outside of "office hours" to ensure I knew what was happening and provide insight to choices that needed to be made. We are already starting a list of projects we hope he can help us with in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Jun 22, 2017Verified
The wall paint is on my trim, and the trim paint is on my wall, the corner of my trim is not 45 degrees, and he forced a NON cut piece of trim over it. There was no puttying before painting. He left Brush marks. Stan promised to do a good job, but my father and I can do better, and we should have (he is 75). Stan is rude, and imposing. He promises the moon, and then demands payment in an intimidating way. I mentioned part of the poor painting job, and he INSISTED it was fine. After some literal BEGGING, he got someone to carelessly roll a wall, which needed the corner painted with a brush, before rolling. Stan flat out LIED about the scope of work, and only agreed to complete it, after I told him that I shall review him accordingly. Shortly thereafter, he requested a positive review, so he could build his business. STAY AWAY. This company is WAY over priced, and aggressive. Stan called me twice ta threaten me, promising to dump debris in my driveway. He is mentally unstable and almost violent.Jul 30, 2017Verified
Stan was absolutely fantastic to work with, he was proactive when communicating with me before I decided to use him for my project. Once confirmed, he was able to take on my project quickly and even finished in one day. My deck was left clean and tidy, when they were done. Very reasonable to work with and would definitely recommend him and will keep him in mind for future projects around the house.Jun 21, 2018Verified
