- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have basic prices that we charge for certain jobs because of our experience in doing them before ... Taking into consideration time , cost of materials ,and the landscape where we will be working....
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to speak with the customer for a time and get to know what their likes and dislikes are; And I ALWAYS like to share with them the pros and cons of a certain material and make sure they understand I will fight for the very best price on materials I can get,and assure the customer we do not try to get rich off of one job,but rather make the whole process as easy and simple as possible with no pressure. After all, word-of-mouth is the best advertisement you can get !
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All my training and education in masonry comes from my dad and grandfather ; they both were a lot harder on me than their other employees ,but as I grew I understood why... they cared very much for their trade and product and wanted to ensure that I have the same passion and respect for masonry seeing I was carrying on the family name ... There was another major influence in my training , his name was Giuseppe Scaccia...a very old-school Italian Mason that I consider one of the best ever...
