I was in need of a mason for a stamped concrete patio for my back yard so I used Thumbtack to help me find a good mason. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing goes mostly by the square foot specially for concrete. The price for a foundation goes by the block.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will be going over all kinds of different ideas I can do for what your looking for. For example a driveway, could go with a standard mag finish or broom finish. Also could go with all kinds of different stamped concrete with all different patterns or colors. Once I know what you need I will give you a proposal/ contract, if you agree you sign and give deposit we agreed on. Then we get hard at work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
High school diploma, years of hands on experience in all phases of masonry. Also years of laboring for experienced masons.
