FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a couple of pricing options for my customers. If the client comes to my fitness studio here in Twinsburg, my hourly rate is $35 per hour. If I travel to a clients residence and bring equipment for the session, my rate is $55 per hour. In both scenario's I offer a discounted individual rate for small groups of up to (4). I also offer the client the option to purchase packages of training sessions at discounted hourly rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will start with an initial telephone consultation where I learn some important things about the new customer. I gather insight into their GOALS and review their recent exercise program or determine what hurdles may be making developing a sustainable fitness program difficult. After the initial consultation the customer will be e-mailed a basic health questionnaire and personal services contract. During our first training session we will work thru a couple of simple exercise assessments to identify any muscular imbalances, or existing range of motion issues that will be used in developing the exercise plan model that will best meet their needs as well as their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) since 1993 and currently offer Personal Training Services, and teach various fitness classes in my private fitness studio and at a few Recreation Centers in the area. In 2014 I retired from public service in a local communities Fire Department. During my 33 years as a Firefighter, and shift supervisor I oversaw the departments Health & Wellness Program, conducted fitness assessments and designed fitness programs for firefighters in my department and throughout Northeast Ohio.
