- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For the initial consultation within my 20 miles service area the fee is $20, this is for 30 minutes. I charge mileage at $.30/mile after that 20 miles. For a single hour long session I charge a standard rate of $50/hour. I also offer 3 and 6 week courses for $135 and $255 respectively. Payments to be made at the beginning of each session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new customers I like to gather some initial information on tbe phone, via call or text, or through email. Through this I will asses whether I am the right fit for your situation or if I think you'll do best with a referral to a colleague. If we work well together I will schedule a consultation, a 30 minite session in which I'll give you some handouts, get more detailed information as to your concerns, goals, abilities, etc. I will then meet your dog and make a behavioral assesment to determine the kind of and duration of training needed. From there I will give you my recommendation for training. If you choose to continue we will set up training sessions from that point.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated from Animal Behavioral College as a certified dog trainer. Worked as a trainer with Kind Hearts Dog Center since January 2014.
