FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My clients have the choice to either pay a traditional commission per investment transaction or pay an annual advisory fee with unlimited transactions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I meet with my clients to determine what they want to work towards. It could be to save for their children's or grandchildren's education. It could be to save for retirement. It could be to generate monthly investment income that will last a lifetime. Once we determine the goal, I create a plan to help my clients get from where they are today to where they want to be in the future.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a Finance degree from Hofstra University in 1996. I started working for PaineWebber in 1997. I received my Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) designation in 2005. After working for 16 years with PaineWebber/UBS, Smith Barney and Wells Fargo Advisors, I established McKenna Financial Planning in 2013.
