- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We rely on the quality of our performance and the professional manner in which we conduct ourselves to set fair prices. Each type of project entails specific preparation, proper equipment, time and travel. Our pricing is based the type of project, time of year, work environment, calendar schedule, length and time of engagement, travel distance, and consideration for specific custom requests. **We have been known to make special consideration discounts for unique situations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We need to know what the customer is trying to achieve and how our performance is meant to enhance that goal. We pride ourselves on listening and offer honest answers. We enjoy establishing a good rapport and getting to know who we are working with and what we can offer to bring another satisfied customer into our lives. 1) We establish that our musical product matches the desires of the customer. 2) We establish a price that both the customer and OSR agree upon. 3) We verify all the details involved with the production that have been agreed to and send out a contract reflecting those agreements. 4) We do our show and have a great time with our new friends.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
"One Sweet Ride" arose from the ashes of Lickety Split which included Rod and Tony. Other groups associated with these players are Circus, The Wall, RoX, Shylock, Powerrhouse, COD, Johnny & The Robbers, Dr. Q, and the 18-piece Stage Music Big Band . Joe Karwacki: Ithaca College School of Music graduate. Public school music educator, professional bassist for 46 years (Classical, Rock, Shows, Musicals, Big Band, Jazz, etc...) Professional piano tuner for 37 years. Rod Broadbent: Professional guitarist/vocalist for 45 years. Has been a member of professional bands throughout his life, most recently Lickety Split. Tony Vennera: Professional keyboardist/vocalist for his entire lifetime and has been working continuously in this field. He has toured throughout the U.S. and played in too many bands to name here. Bill Nudo: A professional drummer/vocalist who has also played in too many groups to name.
