I believe it is difficult to find someone in the dance industry who is willing to venture outside of the industry. I explore all forms of dancing including Greek, Tahitian, bellydancing, etc. not just want you see on television. I'm not a professional in anything other than hip hop, but i am currently working my way towards it and learning as many styles as I can. Discovering different styles and movement has truly helped me as an artist, dancer, and person. It won't allow me to upload a video at the moment, but you can always Instagram alexsaali and there will be more photos and videos there. I enjoy the feeling of dance. The feeling of creating the music with my body. One main thing I try to teach is how to hear and understand rhythm. Each time my students have come back to me saying "Miss. Alex I was listening to this song the other day and heard something in the background I've never heard before." I love when that happens because people tend to forget it's not just about the movement, but the music.
