Jesika is a talented and highly creative hair and make-up artist. I would say she's actually a designer. She is incredibly diligent in studying style and then recreating it. She did my hair and make-up for my wedding as well as for several creative, themed photo shoots (vampire, fairy tale and 1950s themes). She is funny and laid-back and put me at my ease every time I worked with her. But she's also very precise and perfectionistic (in a good way!). She's the best make-up and hair artist I have ever worked with. I highly recommend Jesika's services for weddings, photo shoots, prom hair and make-up, and personal style consulting and tutorials. She's also very reasonably-priced for the amount of work she puts in to making you absolutely gorgeous.

Jes made my wedding day extremely special. Not only did she do a beautiful job with hair and make up, but she came along with the bridal party for photos. She touched up our make up in between each picture, blotted our faces to take away shine, and she fixed my dress each time so that every picture could be captured with perfection. Watching Jes do hair and make up, I can tell that she truly has a passion for her work. She has fun while making you look beautiful in a matter of minutes. Jes works efficiently and listens to exactly what you have in mind for your special day. I'm extremely delighted and honored to have had someone as talented as Jes do my hair and makeup for my wedding day.

Jes is incredibly talented with hair and make up. I'm getting married in June and went to see her for a trial run. She was able to do many different styles and listens to exactly what you have in mind. After each hair style she took pictures and let me take my time deciding which one I liked best. Her make up skills are amazing and she gave great advice on tips for what to do with dry/oily skin. Jes is very personable and has a fun personality. I'm excited for her to do my wedding hair/make up!

This is the second wedding I have been in that Jesika was the hair and make up artist! I love what styles she comes up with for my hair! I have thinner hair, and a round face and I usually just wear my hair down. Jesika, within 10-15 minutes transformed my hair into a side bun masterpiece! Not to mention the great job she did on my make up! My skin looked flawless! I recommend Jesika hand down! She will be doing my wedding next year and I cannot wait!

Jes did an AMAZING job for my best friends wedding. The bride and bridesmaids hair & makeup was flawless. Styles us ladies could only dream of having. My hair felt like a piece of art and it held tight through the entire day, dancing and all. On top of that, Jes was present during the entire ceremony for touch ups, making everyone feel beautiful at all times. She is truly talented and I would recommend her in heartbeat.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing system is flexible. I usually gauge it depending on what is easier for the client whether it is an hourly rate or fixed. But what I have always done and found helpful is charging hourly.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contacting through email, exchanging ideas and photos so I can get an understanding of what my client wants. Next, I like to meet with in person with the client and do a trial run of the make, hair or both, along side with more conversation about what the client is looking for. I do not like to rush the process so sitting down to meet and trial run takes about 1 and a half to 2 hours. Next, I will be all set to do the job efficiently the day of the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A few years of self provided clients by word of mouth. I have worked with everything from stage make up to a whole bridal party.
