FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For different kinds of installations we really have to look at the job. All estimates are completely free of course. For troubleshooting and a service call we charge $75. That also covers the first hour of work. It's very rare that it takes longer than that to diagnose the problem. If for some strange reason it does take longer, your technician will walk you through everything that needs to be done to resolve the problem you are having.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Master Electrician. I have 20 years of experience. In order to retain electrical licenses, update classes are required on the latest electrical code requirements. Any professional from our business that shows up to do work is a licensed electrician. This lets the customer know that he/she is getting a professional and safe installation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I graduated high school I had no idea what I wanted to do. There was an electrical contractor down the road from my house so I stopped in to see if they were hiring. They were not but said they would contact me as soon as they were looking for an apprentice. I called twice a week for two months until they got tired of me bothering them and hired me. That was 21 years ago and I never have done anything else since that day.
