Introduction: Images by TAJ provides Portrait Photography services focusing on a natural look and feel. I focus on the needs and desires of the client in order to capture images that will be enjoyed for years to come. I enjoy taking solo, couples, High School Seniors, and family portraits. I offer clients a variety of Portrait Packages to address different levels of service and price points, which can be found on my website under "INVESTMENT." I enjoy taking images capturing a particular time in one's life. I love hearing clients describe an image as "I love it!" or "That's just what I wanted!" My mother instilled in me a real appreciation for photos and actually printing them so you can flip through a photo album or stack of prints and recall whatever those particular images represent. Digital Images are great for storing and swiping through, but I am a huge advocate for prints and photo albums. I embrace technology, but it brings me great enjoyment when I go through my own baby albums, high school age albums, my engagement album, my wedding album, albums of my own child, and family vacation albums. And I hope to be a part of bringing that same feeling to clients.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer several pre-defined Portrait Packages including Prints, Digital Downloads, and Shopping Credit. If you do not see a Package that fits your needs, then I'm open to creating a client specific Package.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each Portrait Session includes a consultation prior to the session. This may be in person or remote. Following the photo session there will be a couple more interactions. Within two weeks, I will perform basic image processing and provide you a temporary preview gallery. You will be asked to view and identify the images you are most interested in receiving final processing. Upon processing, I will provide you a final, private gallery and request an opportunity to view the final images together. I will provide the link only to you, but you can share the gallery link as you deem appropriate. Only those who are provided the link will be able to access the gallery. The private gallery is where additional purchases (prints and/or image downloads) can be made. I will leverage images from sessions to promote myself via public galleries for viewing only; no download or purchase options. If your package includes prints and/or file downloads, then you will need to determine what image(s) you want for print and/or to download. I will take care of the prints for you, and I will provide you the image files via free downloads.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've enjoyed photography for many years. When my son was born, my interest went to another level. As I was taking thousands of pictures of my own family, I learned more and more about technical details and available image software, and I received some mentoring from existing Photographers I was able to interact with. From there, I began taking images of others and gained a real sense of satisfaction. When I began experiencing those types of feeling, my interest in taking Photography more serious went to yet another level. And here I am.
