What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since each project is different, I like to provide a specialize competitive quote for each project. We do price matching, so price should never be an issue.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I value creating a strong partnership as I work with new clients. Before diving into any project I like to spend some time on discovery. I want to see what materials you already have, samples of sites that you like, and get a feel for the target audience you want to reach. Learning about you up front will help get that right experience you are looking for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an BA in Communications, MBA in Technology Management. In addition, I am a whole-person life coach. I have spent a lot of time learning technology during my 20 years of working in the IT field.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked for 15 years in various leadership positions supporting contracts for large fortune 500 businesses. I started my own consulting practice in 2011 as it fit my family structure. I have always been drawn to creative problem solving. Creating a website really helps define a business. So, my business experience and knowledge comes into play for every project.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked on projects for the following industries: IT, health care, government, non-profits.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am currently working on a website for a health care/non-profit. They had a site, but it was a disaster. They needed not only a site, but systems in place that would automate some key processes. It took about a month to get the structure of the site and another month to tweak all the features.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't just go for price or for the fanciest design. Find a provider that will get to know you and be able to represent your business out in the world.

What kind of website are you looking to create: marketing, product, community, etc.? What features are important to you?
