I hired Michael because he seemed like a young and hungry guy. He started off by rescheduling the first visit. Then after showing up to the next visit told me he only had about an hour. 30 minutes in he said he was going to need a second guy. We rescheduled which meant me having to move my schedule around again. The second time he showed up with his partner they proceed to work on the installation but then had to run another line, there was already two going to the area one of which wasn't going to need to be used. While running a new unnecessary line they drilled a hole in my drywall on accident. To fix this, they slap some putty on the hole hap-hazardously. Then they had to come back a third day for about 30 minutes to finish. He then told me he was going to update my switches because of the trouble, but ended up replacing with cheap toggle switches (now the only of this kind in the house) and cheap plastic wall plate, which cracked within three uses. The junction box no longer fits correctly and I will have to replace. Finally he threw away (during clean up which there was none except for their own tools and supplies) the original switches which were completely fine. Finally when all was done he tried to charge double the original price and more than double of what was offered due to inconvenience of rescheduling. While professional in demeanor, inexperience and lack of confidence shows through. It's people with his drive and demeanor I try to hire, because I was a small business owner and try to support them any chance I can get. Unfortunately the lack of follow through, attention to detail and planning was the downfall of this experience. My plans for further upgrades have been put on hold until I can fix the issues left from installation and I can find a qualified electrician that will fit my needs. My only hope for Michael is that he takes this as a learning experience and betters his business.
