Introduction: My goal is to capture images of people that make them say "Wow, I really look good in that shot!". I believe everyone should have a photograph of themselves that they can be proud of. I have a desire to help people feel great about how they look. My photography will aim to make you feel confident and comfortable about who you are! Part of what I love about portrait photography is the opportunity to connect with new people. Portraits are personal and I enjoy getting to know a person through the portrait process.

Matt did an awesome job photographing our family of 3. With a 21 Month Old who rarely smiles for Family Photos, our expectations were not great as we figured our little guy once again would not cooperate. Not the case. Matt captured him specifically in all his essence as a toddler. He got the snaps at the perfect time when all of us were smiling. We could not be more pleased with our photos. I plan on enlarging several onto canvas - I've never liked any photos of us enough to do so...until now. He was good about asking if there were particular poses that we wanted whereas most photographers I've dealt with simply have told us how to pose. I appreciated his thoughtfulness in asking. I appreciated the candid shots as well - especially those of our son playing in the leaves & dirt.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will discuss the customer's goals and I'll try to determine the best course of action to achieve those goals. There will be a lot of behind the scenes work on my part to ensure the customer is happy every step of the way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken a number of photography classes in a classroom setting as well as online. Plenty of hours of trial and error along with lots and lots of reading.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always enjoyed capturing a moment of magic with a camera. The artistic side of photography has always appealed to me.
