Introduction: Hello! I've been performing for 21 years and teaching for 15 years, and I'm now venturing into online lessons in order to reach more students. Teaching has always been a passion for me! Whether you're an adult trying the violin or viola for the first time, or a dedicated student aiming to major in music, I can adapt my approach to suit your needs. I will help you build confidence in your playing through presenting attainable goals each week, while also providing appropriate challenges. I aim to help you feel comfortable and natural as you play by prioritizing proper posture and technique. I have a Master's degree from the Peabody Conservatory in Violin Performance with an emphasis in pedagogy. I have performed in the U.S.A. and Europe, with well-known artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Yo-Yo Ma, Itzahk Perlman, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. My teacher training includes the Suzuki method (registered for books 1-5) and the Mark O'Connor method (certified for books 1-2). My hope is that the violin or viola becomes a constant source of inspiration and enjoyment for you! *My lessons are taught ONLINE via Discord, Facetime, or Google Hangout.
