FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer several financial coaching and planning services to fit most client needs. Our basic hourly coaching fee starts at $100/hour and useful when you have a focused area of concern and a high probability of only requiring a couple of coaching sessions to arrive at your best course of action. For more involved needs involving several areas of focus like estate planning, investment planning, and saving for some future large ticket item purchase we offer a Facilitation and Consulting service. This service is priced based on the complexity of your situation and beneficial interests of others/special needs that must be planned out. We offer a good faith quote prior to any formal fees are charged.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our customary approach begins with our first conversation which maybe over the phone, via web based meeting, or in person meeting. During this first conversation its sort of like a first date figuring out if we like each other and do our personalities mix well. We ask ourselves can we offer assistance and help you materially improve your situation. You should be asking yourself do I like this person, are they open and good at communicating so you understand, and does it appear as though our experience and services can assist you in arriving at prudent, well thought out financial decisions that are in your best interests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have spent a combined career of over 50-Years helping others achieve financial security. We come to the table with wicked smart facilitators that are outgoing people with analytic minds who love nothing more than steering good people around bad financial ideas. Most importantly, we make the confusing noise of financial services make sense separating facts from fiction. Our lead managing members have accumulated experience as financial planners; investment officers; senior financial advisors; retirement plan advisors; life, disability, and long-term care advisors; and business advisors to small-medium size privately held organizations. We have incorporated all kinds of products and solutions into wealth management plans and run our own "Shark Tank" of venture capital and private equity investors. What we continue to see is very little effective help for everyday people to develop financial decision-making confidence and skill. DecisionPoint Services exists to help good people make great decisions. We develop great financial decision-makers one mind at a time.
