Shadow & Trees Massage Therapy
About this pro
For over 10 years, I have provided massage therapy services along with orthopedic assessment and active isolated stretching to clients living with chronic pain and/or suffering with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. In addition, I'm particularly skilled at working with athletes who are curious about how massage might best augment an already established training regimen. My skill is in artfully crafting a session to best serve a client working with a variety of conditions while still providing the type of relaxing massage that most people often think of when they think of traditional massage. For seven years, I taught at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy courses in orthopedic massage, assessment, sports massage, and kinesiology. Each client brings out the best in me! I am a dedicated professional who's great at what he does, and I'm blessed to share this gift with you. Every day presents me with different clients and new challenges that I greet with enthusiasm. Yes, I love what I do!
Customers rated this pro highly for value, punctuality, and responsiveness.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $80/hour, $120/90-minutes. For customers looking to come back regularly, I offer massage package discounts of 10% off for pre-purchased packages of 5 or more sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Generally, I ask that all potential clients give me a call before booking, as it allows me to get a better sense of any medical issues you may be working with, and gives the client an opportunity to ask me questions directly in real time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attended an accredited massage therapy program, graduating in April, 2007. Since that time, I have take numerous continuing education trainings, courses, and workshops in myofascial work, orthopedic massage and assessment, and active isolated stretching (AIS).
