FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have standard prices for different types of cleanings such as deep cleaning and standard cleaning. A deep cleaning is more expensive because I will be cleaning almost every nook and cranny from the house with extra caution. HOUSE DEEP CLEANING INCLUDES: - Deep cleaning most surfaces (such as countertops, sinks, tubs, toilets, floors, appliances, furniture, etc); - Scrubbing and sanitizing kitchens from top to bottom, including the exterior of cabinets and drawers, exterior/interior of appliances like stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, countertops, dishwashers, sinks and drains, backsplashes, light switch plate covers, knobs and handles; - Cleaning tables/chairs and behind of furniture; - Scrubbing and sanitizing bathrooms from top to bottom, including tile grout, wastebasket, toilets, tubs, shower's door, sinks and drain openings and polishing chrome; - Dusting trim work, baseboards, doors, picture frames, light fixtures, etc. ; - Vacuuming upholstery and carpet; - Vacuuming and mopping hard floors; - Wipe down window sills and ledges; blinds and vents cleaning; - Cobwebs removed. A standard cleaning usually come after the deep cleaning and is less expensive because it's more of a routine cleaning. . HOUSE STANDARD CLEANING INCLUDES: - Cleaning most surfaces (such as countertops, sinks, tubs, toilets, floors, appliances, furniture, etc); - Scrubbing and sanitizing kitchens, including the exterior of cabinets and drawers, exterior of appliances like stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, dishwasher, countertops, sinks and drains, backsplashes, light switch plate covers, knobs and handles; - Cleaning tables/chairs and behind of furniture; - Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including tile walls, toilets, tubs, shower's door, trash removed, sinks and drain openings and polishing chrome; - Dusting trim work, baseboards, doors, picture frames, light fixtures, etc. ; - Vacuuming upholstery and carpet; - Vacuuming and mopping hard floors; - Wipe down window sills and ledges; blinds and vents cleaning; - Cobwebs removed. The prices between both cleanings will vary according to the layout, the square footage and the interiors conditions of the house.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do realize that having someone that we don't know at our homes it can be very stressful so my first step after I get hired, is to talk to the customer and set up a meeting, according to his schedule, at his house. In case there are pets in the house, it is very important that they are present so we can know each other. I do have always the worries to ask to the customer how he/she wants his house cleaned, what kind of cleaning products he/she likes to be used (eco-friendly or not) and if there are any items that require special care/attention; I also like to mention to the customer that since it is the first cleaning, it will take more time and will be a sort of an "deep" cleaning. Then as soon as all details are sort it out, I can give an proper estimate and if the customer agrees with it, we can start to discuss the schedule that suits better to the customer needs. It can be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Communication is a must between me and the customer so I am always looking for constructive feedback.
