- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard Head Shot: 150 if you come to me. More if I travel with my lights. Discount for students in performing arts negotiable. Family photos without studio lighting is 250 if outside in nature. Client keeps all proofs. Many poses offered and all inclusive in price. Wedding are starting at 800 but that is for a small intimate gathering. 1500-2000 for larger groups. Commercial photos are 150 per hour. Editing time is extra if complex, but if basic it will not figure into the price structure.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Making them feel at ease, getting down to business and accomplishing our stated goals for our photo shout and delivering the results swiftly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Princeton University BA in English, Religion and Philosophy bridge with minor studies in art, Cambridge University Scott Polar Research Institute M. Phil in polar science, 15 years in the field working with "National Geographic" Photographers and professionals from major publications such as "Outside Magazine", guiding other pros and assisting them due to my own familiarity with the remote locations.
