My Cornell degree is Chemical Engineering. I worked in engineering and business before getting into teaching. I've always loved Math and learning about HOW and WHY it is relevant and useful. Engineering allowed me to use math to solve real problems and understand how the laws of nature work. I'm an outdoors person and love exploring nature. It's a beautiful thing to see how much of the world around us can be described using math. My graduate degree in Business (Finance & Accounting) allows me to better prepare students who want to pursue a career in business.
