FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cleaning of tile and grout and especially carpet really requires a visual inspection. There are many variables including the amount of dirt, the kind of dirt, the size of the project, the type of surface to be cleaned etc... that all factor into an estimate. The worst thing I can do is tell you based on your description is that it will cost $100 and then when I show up and see it first hand tell you it will actually cost $150? You won't hire me, and I look bad. If I send an estimate it will always be on the high end.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We take part in a weekly teleconference with other processionals located across the country in order to stay current on trends, new techniques, etc...
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I recently retired after 23 years in the United States Air Force. My oldest son just graduated from high school. We wanted to find something we could do together! I looked at a lot of business ideas. This one stood out because there is simply nothing else like it.
