I absolutely recommend Pat as a wedding officiant. She was very laid back and accommodating. She did a great job asking my husband and I about ourselves and our relationship when we met with her initially and beautifully worked in what we told her into a very personalized ceremony. Everyone at our wedding told us was a perfect ceremony we had; it was exactly what we wanted. Pat is a great communicator; she responds promptly to message and texts and is very professional, but also fun to work with.

My husband and I were married last summer, July 4th to be exact. We found Pat through friends of friends and she literally made our entire ceremony. She is so sweet, kind, invested, creative, caring and professional. She had no problem spending her July 4th with us when a lot of other officiants and vendors in general gave us a difficult time right out of the gate. Pat was a great mix of humorous and sentimental and she had all of our guests laughing and crying which is exactly what we wanted. We also didn't want the "cookie-cutter" wedding with the old "Love is patient, love is kind" reading. We wanted a unique and personally meaningful ceremony and that is exactly what Pat helped us to create. Also, although we were quite involved in the planning of the ceremony, (i.e. readings, vows, etc.) we could have been completely hands off and Pat still would have created a gorgeous ceremony that I just know we would have loved. Pat seems to be very in tune with what a couple wants and needs. It's tough to put Pat's charisma into words. She was just wonderful when there were quite a few vendors we dealt with who were quite honestly difficult. Pat understood that this was our big day and she did absolutely everything in her power to help us, fulfill our wishes, and make my husband and I and our family and friends feel special. Pat is the BEST and on such an important day like your wedding day, you're gonna want to have the best!! Thank you Pat for helping to make our wedding the most wonderful day of our lives!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better officiant for our wedding than Pat Carver. She enhanced our day with the experience she provided. Pat worked with us very closely to taylor the ceremony to fit us perfectly. She got to know us on a personal level and I can't begin to imagine how differently our ceremony would have been without her. She's extra special and we are very grateful she was a big part of our important day!

Fees are determined by the number of people invited to the ceremony, the number of participants in the wedding party, and if a rehearsal is requested, an additional fee may be required. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the couple has contacted us about our wedding officiant services, we meet with the couple to discuss your journey to marriage and to secure the wedding date. We will create your ceremony with your story in mind and share up to (3) drafts of the ceremony with you so that you will enjoy your ceremony and know what to expect. The ceremony we create will be for those couples who are seeking an incredibly unique wedding experience with an accent on you and your most important wedding day! What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are certified wedding officiants ordained nonsectarian and nondenominational, meeting all PA legal requirements to officiate personalized ceremonies that are focused on you, your family, and friends and can be celebrated in your chosen venue! With a BA and master's work at Columbia University in New York City, Pat decided to start PerfectPromises.net after a marked career at two major universities with 25 years experience in management and leadership, which included building lasting relationships, public speaking and planning signature events. Maddie began officiating weddings a few years ago after assisting Pat with weddings in Pittsburgh. Maddie has over 10 years professional experience with planning major events and especially enjoys working with couples who are full of joy and excitement about their upcoming wedding! Maddie earned a BFA from Marymount Manhattan University in New York City. She has always enjoyed public speaking and especially in her role as an officiant. Maddie would be honored to officiate your ceremony in Philadelphia! Katie also began officiating weddings a few years ago after assisting Pat with several weddings in Pittsburgh. Katie is a graduate of Pace University in New York City and she holds a Masters in Historic Preservation from Youngstown State University.
