- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Naturally the price fluctuates due to many different variables. On new builds or replacements, we charge by the linear ft. Repair jobs are charged by the hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Schedule a visual bid; I typically make the appt for that day or the next, but usually no more than 5 days, or when it's most convenient for the potential customer. Once TLF is hired for the job, we have their utilities marked for safety. Once we have an approximate date for lines marked, the customer receives an estimated start and completion date. Half the cost of the job is due at signing, and the other half is due upon completion.
