FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Again, this varies widely on what you are hiring me for and what your goals are. I can assure you that I will be upfront about all costs. I do require payment BEFORE any services are rendered. The initial interview will cost $10, but will be applied to any future charges if we decide to continue working together.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always want to have some sort of initial interview, regardless of what area the customer is looking to hire me for. My line of work is very relationship oriented, so it is important to me that the client and I are a good fit and can have a good working relationship. I want to set our relationship up so that we have the best chances of the customer being satisfied and me getting to do my best work. Beyond an initial interview, the rest of the process depends heavily on what you are hiring me for and what your goals are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ministry is something that I've come to later in life. I have a BA in Mathematics with a Minor in Music. I worked in the education field for a while, but then decided to pursue ministry. I have many ministry certificates from various organizations and I have done coursework through the organization that ordained me, the National Association of Christian Ministers. I work to stay up to date in various ministry topics, including mentoring/counseling, evangelism and discipleship, young adult ministries, small group ministries, and geriatric/nursing home ministry.
