- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For anyone looking for Estate Planning, we offer a free consultation, at which time the attorney will discuss what her fee's are.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will meet with a client in one of our office that is most convenient for the client (Williamsburg, Newport News, Virginia Beach, Richmond or Tyson's Corner). At this appointment the clients needs and goals will be discussed. The design stage will be implemented and then the client will meet with the attorney again to execute their estate planning documents.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Attorney Donna L. Wilson is the founder of Wilson Law, PLC. Before practicing law, Donna was a teacher and Special Education Consultant. Her lifelong interest in law, in combination with her experiences working to help families with special needs issues, led her to the specialized area of estate planning. Her ability to communicate effectively allows her to explain the intricacies of estate planning to her clients in a manner in which they can easily comprehend, enlightening them as to the infinite resources available to them in the designing of their estate plan. Donna earned a B.S. Degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She earned a M.S. in Education and Administration and Supervision from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia; and a J.D. from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society in the spring of 2000. Donna is a member of Wealth Counsel, a nationwide alliance of estate planning attorneys. Her continuing education in the area of estate planning and asset protection ensures that the most up to date planning techniques are available to her clients. Donnas comprehensive planning goes beyond the traditional Living Trust to include sophisticated planning, such as IRA, Special Needs, Gifting, and Life Insurance Trusts, to name a few. Her plans are all-inclusive, personalized, and unique to the clients individual circumstances. Her goal is to help families plan for life, deal with death, resolve potential conflicts, and allocate a lasting legacy to beneficiaries.
