Introduction: If you have decided to spend your money on a personal trainer, you want results. This is what Impact Fitness delivers. If you are looking for safe, effective, quality training with goal oriented results that drive motivation, Impact Fitness brings it. Whether it's strength training, aerobic conditioning, weight loss or more involved routines that focus on limited mobility and range of motion issues, Impact Fitness minimize the risk of injury by making sure the clients joints are properly warmed up, before moving on to stabilizing their system. Then the fun begins. A quality exercise program does not mean that you have to go through a major sweat session every time you work out to achieve results. My training routines do not necessarily involve the standard gym equipment. I use closed chain, compound moves to keep the body stable. The more weights you toss around, the more you get injured. It does not have to be this way. My sessions are 45-60 minutes long. Assessments are free. For sanitation reasons I do not take equipment from one client to the next. Experience - Safety - Results. This is what Impact Fitness brings. I enjoy helping clients reach their goals and become stable while reducing their risk of injury. Stability is the key to quality performance. Six years ago I began my journey with Matt at impact fitness. I was suffering from a number of obesity related ailments. Matt was amazing! He listened to my concerns and noted my needs. He tirelessly and patiently worked with me, even on days I didn't want to work out. He is the reason I have lost 126 lbs, and gained strength I could never dream of. I will continue working with Matt to keep my body in the best shape it's ever been in. Being diagnosed with ostioarthritis of the spine was a very hard blow, but Matt focused on building my core strength. I have not had a backache since working on this special set of exercises. Matt has given me the attention and compassion I have never been able to find in a typical gym. His prices are amazing and that means even I can afford to work with him. He has helped me avoid spinal surgery with his care. Thank you impact fitness for giving me the quality of life I could only dream of before.

I've been working with Matt for four years to build muscle mass and gain weight. When I began with Matt, I was 120 lbs. Lots of focus placed first on building a proper foundation for building on. Every exercise was carefully done with lots of focus of stability and control of each movement. Following each instruction given to me, and continuing my work outs in between sessions. I began to not only feel but see results pretty quickly. Matt has helped me to not only build up muscle mass resulting in my current weight of 156 lbs, turning my body into a strong and healthy one. I've been to other trainers that claim to give you these results. Matt is the first one who delivered confidently and without the ego I have often seen. I would recommend anyone, if they are just begining, or looking for a new trainer who really invests his all into each person he takes on.

I was lucky enough to find Matt about 6 years ago. I was in a very dangerous health situation. Morbidly obese, and in overall poor health. Matt was absolutely the best thing that ever happened to me. He was kind but assertive and he has a knowledge base that far surpasses any trainer I've ever worked with. He was all about safety and lifestyle changes. Learning to live in a healthy and fit way. Matt helped me turn my life and health problems around and I am here today partly because of him. I went from close to death at 430 pounds to 230 pounds and the best shape and fitness level of my life. All at 46 years old. I cannot recommend Matt and his abilities highly enough! Take the chance and meet with him. If you follow his direction and allow him to guide you, it will the best choice you've ever made! The man is simply a pro!!! Best decision I've made when I began using Matt Johnstone as my personal trainer. I was working out with a different trainer before Matt. I have a lot of issues with my spine. The last trainer charged me much more money and I felt like I was not making any progress. The last trainer charged me much more money and I felt like I was not making any progress. Since. I have been working out with Matt, I feel like I am getting stronger. The pace of his workouts are perfect for me! An added bonus, is his easy-going pleasant personality. I really enjoy our sessions. He has years of experience and knowledge. I would highly recommend Matt! and knowledge. I would highly recommend Matt!!

Six months ago my friend gave me an ad that she received in the mail from Impact fitness. Calling Matt at Impact fitness was one of the best decisions I ever made regarding my health. The quality of skill and knowledge of the human body that Matt brings is only surpassed by the professionalism that I received. Not to mention I can set my watch by his prompt arrival each time. I have a very busy schedule, and Matt doesn't skip a beat in making sure that my sessions with him fit my time lines. I have gone from feeling like I was 65 to feeling like I am 40 again! My back issues have slowly but surely disappeared! My shoulder problem that none of the four trainers I've gone through over the past ten years has been able to help me with, Matt has managed to find a way to work around and with my shoulder to give me the kind of workout that I have been trying to find in other trainers for so many years! He not only gives me a workout that doesn't leave me in more pain when I'm finished, but actually leaves me feeling more energized and in LESS pain. He is not only amazing at the training and professional workout he gives, he also makes its go by so fast with his easygoing attitude and lighthearted personality. Even on my worst days, when I feel like skipping my workout and even less like seeing people, he has me laughing and glad I have him working with me. Matts' experience dealing with clients and their needs and requests no matter what they are, speaks for itself. I found this out the first two times I trained with him and I have never looked back. When it comes to your body, you want the best for it and having someone who is livingproof that no matter howw old you are, you dont have to feel like it, is much better to me than photos of muscles. I have learned more about how my body works and how to work with my changing needs from Matt. He has given me many exercises I can do when I'm not with him and it really keeps me going and feeling limber and comfortable. Since working with Matt, I no longer wake up feeling stiff. He has even helped me to adjust my entire way of moving so that I no longer feel pain when bending down or lifting things. Not only am I fitting into my clothes better and feeling more confident in them, but more importantly, I am feeling better than I have ever felt. I am now in the best shape I have been in ever! If you're looking for somone who has amazing knowlege and experience, Matt is your guy. Summing it up: Impact fitness is first class Quality all the way!!!
