Introduction: Experienced Dancesport photographer who knows how to capture action and candid shots at the right moment. I have done dance studio photo shoots, taken pictures at dance competitions and showcases, picture portraits for individuals and families, along with pictures for group functions/events. I have a good eye for composition and doing traditional and candid shots. Being well traveled, I have taken a lot of scenery/landscape pictures as well. Having a background in the corporate world and in the performing arts industry, I enjoy working with people of all walks of life. I love photography and I believe that a picture tells a thousand words. I enjoy capturing the special moments through my camera lens to tell the story to the audience. I feel that any photographer can take traditional posed pictures. But not many photographers are well versed at capturing actions/candid shots. I enjoy working with adults and children. The best part about being a photographer is to see the smiles and joy my pictures bring to my clients.

Initially, I used HL Photography for my wedding / reception, and I was so impressed with her ability to compose still portraits as well as her ease of being able to transition to taking action photos of me dancing with my wife and mother. Capturing these special moments, really made our wedding even more special as we now have pictures to last a life time. We were so pleased w HL's quality that we hired her to take family portraits this fall w our extended family. The composition, quality of the pictures and her willingness to be flexible but also insightful as to her suggestions made this second outing a success as well. The Best DanceSport Photographer I have ever worked with!!! My name is Aleksandar Bonev & am a competitive Ballroom and Latin dancer. Pricing is customized to each customer. It is dependent upon the time range of the photoshoot, travel time, number of digital files, whether the photos need to be edited or not.

I would like to know what the customer is looking for. The more information the customer can provide, the easier and more efficient it will be to meet the customer’s expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken photography classes and have been taking pictures since 1997 when I owned my first SLR camera. In the last few years, I started getting into Dancesport action photography. I have taken pictures at weddings, events, dance competitions, dance showcases. I’ve also done family pictures and landscape photography.
