What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, all my pricing is listed on my website under "Services".
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customer service is priority one! I am proud of the amount of repeat customers I have coming back through my doors.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in business for over 30 years and I have been certified by the Professional Photographers of America for 25 years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a Journalism Major with a Photojournalism Emphasis. I have basically been in photography my entire life! I photographed my first wedding in 1984 and the rest is history.
What types of customers have you worked with?
ALL types. From large corporations such as McDonald's to the family down the street. The diversity of my job is what keeps it exciting!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently photographed several employees and the Doctor for an Orthodontist's office. We did action shots, headshots, interior images of his office and detail shots. It was about a 2-3 hour shoot. He now has fresh new imagery for every page of his website.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take a good look at their work and see if their style appeals to you. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I would also do your own homework to find samples of the type of work you are looking for. This is one of the best ways to convey to us what you envision for your portrait.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
How will these images be used? What message do you want these images to convey? Who is the target audience?
