FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A new student can expect a good vocal warm up and some exercises to do that allow me to get familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of the students voice. Then we will work through songs together. I like to help them find specific techniques that will make their singing easier and better. I work steadily and thoroughly so that students can learn to do these techniques on their own.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in music. I have also undergone extensive training for contemporary music like pop and rock, and I have had classical and broadway style teaching residencies in Italy.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been singing all my life! First in choir, then solo singing in college. My first student was in 2000.
